Jimmy Lyons
Co-Founder & CEO
Jimmy has over a decade of experience working in the financial services industry. He developed his original idea for AdvisorConnect while searching for innovative ways to serve potential and existing clients at BNY Mellon.
Jimmy has been recognized by industry trade organizations for his innovative approach to using technology to scale white glove relationships. He's also been a guest lecturer to aspiring financial advisors and entrepreneurs at his alma mater, The University of Wisconsin, Madison, and Columbia Business School.
His experience growing up in a family of Olympic Rowers (and competing at an international level as a D1-Varsity rower himself) taught him firsthand what it takes to build a winning team and drive it across the finish line.
Jeff Tompkins
CO-FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
Jeff is an enterprise sales executive and serial entrepreneur with experience in three startups. He started his first company out of his dorm room as an undergraduate and his previous startup, Social Picks, won Best Startup in the NYSE’s Big Startup Competition.
A collegiate national debate champion, Jeff's recent public speaking includes presentations at IBM Tech Talks, InsureTech Connect's Innovation Showcase, and GAMA's annual LAMP conference.
Jeff wrote his master’s thesis on social networking theory while studying at Oxford University as a Marshall Scholar and graduated magna cum laude in Government from Cornell University.
